We are working towards our 4th Award for Science and Maths excellence.

All classes (Juniors-6th) are participating in this project and we will be regularly updating this site with all our progress. Our focus is on the curriculum scientific strands of Living Things, Energy & Forces, Materials and Environmental Awareness & Care. Where possible we will incorporate maths and ICT skills into our investigations.

Step 1 & Step 5 Science Strand Living Things –National Tree Day Oct 5^th 2017

National Tree Day is a very important occasion for the Junior end of our school. First class and Senior infants planted a special alder tree sent to us from the Tree Council. They also did an Autumn nature walk, and had to complete a trail to find signs of autumn.
